TOUR THE FARM

Our self-guided tours are a great way to explore the farm, discovering our lavender production, garden games, meeting our resident farm animals while taking in the delightful floral fragrances. Have fun with the countless photo opportunities and take in the colourful seasonal vistas

FUN & GAMES

Whether you are young or young at heart, play a garden game as you wander through the farm. There are many to choose from, like Bocce Ball, Checkers, Connect 4, Giant Jenga and more. Or ask about our Lavender Scavenger at the farm shop

Don't forget to enjoy our Purple features around the farm, like our tractors, lavender door and tunnel

MEET THE FARM ANIMALS

Have a conversation with one of our miniature donkeys or introduce yourself to our adorable goats. All our resident farm animals are here to enjoy the day as much as you. In winter we even have limited feeding of our alpaca and sheep but our farm animals always enjoy saying hi between eating pasture and going about their day.

ALLOW TIME TO ENJOY

We recommend 1 to 2 hours to enjoy the farm with lots to see & discover. However if you prefer a quick visit then a lot of fun can be had in half an hour. Although many guests frequently spend half a day exploring every relaxing corner of our farm & gardens

SAMPLE WITH YOUR SENSES

Complete your sensory experience by smelling, tasting & feeling our farm-made lavender products. Discover how our products are made and chat with our friendly team to learn more

BEES & HONEY

See where our bees call home, watch them go about their buzzy day as they love going from flower to flower collecting delicious nectar to make into honey. Enjoy a  lavender honey tasting and the other local floral varieties in our tearoom

TEA & ICE CREAM

A cup of farm-made herbal tea or a lavender treat is always a great way to relax. Some of the highlights found in our tearoom are our lavender chocolates, shortbread cookies, macarons, blueberry muffins and cheese/herb scones. *Daily stocks are sometimes limited

A visit to the Wānaka Lavender Farm is not complete without some delicious lavender ice cream. Made in collaboration with a Wānaka ice cream artisan. We have three irresistible flavours

WHAT TO BRING

The farm is fun come rain or shine, so dress for the occasion. Covered shoes, sunscreen and a hat are always high on the recommendation list
