Here’s all you need to know about COVID-19 & your experience at Wānaka Lavender Farm

We are a vaccinated site (as of 3rd Dec 2021) – all our visitors (aged 12 years, 3 months and over) must show their Ministry of Health issued My Vaccine Pass to use our facilities. Your pass will be sighted and/or scanned by one of our team – please have a digital or physical copy ready for this and we appreciate your patience.

All visitors must scan in using the Covid Tracer app upon arrival at the Wānaka Lavender Farm.

If you are unwell, please stay at home and call Healthline if you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms. Please continue good hygiene practices when visiting us.

An overview of our Covid-19 requirements by the traffic light system:

Under Green:

  • No extra restrictions

 

Under Orange:

  • Face coverings must be worn in our retail areas, and 1m distancing must be observed. And within indoor areas when not seated. 

 

Under Red:

  • Face coverings must be worn in our retail areas, and 1m distancing must be observed. And within indoor areas when not seated. 

  • Our retail & tearoom will be limited to 100 people, with 1m distancing. You will be seated and served by a single server.

  • Events will be limited to 100 people with 1m distancing – indoor functions will follow the hospitality regulations.

Why have you chosen to mandate vaccine certificates?

  • We are following the New Zealand government’s Covid-19 Protection Framework and believe this is the best method to protect our guests, our communities, and our teams from the highly contagious Delta variant of COVID-19.

Are all your staff fully vaccinated?

  • Our staff will meet the vaccination criteria set out by the government. 

 

What about outdoor experiences?

  • Most of our guests will come into close contact with staff and/or other visitors, even when much of the experience is outdoors – booking in person, collecting tickets/passes, ordering food/drinks, receiving safety briefings, etc – so we require vaccine passes for everyone.

 

If I don’t want to get vaccinated, will I get a full refund?

  • If your booking was made with us before 3 December 2021, we will provide a full refund if requested and not already used. If your booking was not made directly with us please talk to your point of purchase to seek refunds. For bookings received post 3 December 2021 our normal terms and conditions will apply.
